Concern is growing for the welfare of 58 year-old Alistair Taylor who was last seen at about 7pm on Friday, 23 August, in the Seagate area of the city, heading towards St Andrews Street

A spokesman for the force’s Tayside Division said: “It is almost two months since Alastair, of Forfar Road, was last seen and concern for his welfare continues to grow.”

He continued: “ Alastair is known to frequent the Fife area – St Andrews in particular – and he has also spoken in the past of heading to Europe. As such, officers have not ruled out the possibility that he has travelled abroad. Anyone who knows where Alistair is or who has information that could assist Tayside Division in tracing him should call 101 or speak to any police officer. “

Mr Taylor is 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with receding short fair hair and wears glasses. When last seen he was wearing a cream-coloured jacket, beige trousers and red/beige-coloured suede shoes – similar to bowling shoes.
