Police renew appeal over 'disturbance'

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information after a large scale disturbance in an Edinburgh bar over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Police were called to a pub in the city's Grassmarket area at around 7pm on Saturday, 1 May, after reports of assaults.

Following investigations, 14 people have been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal, but police are still keen to trace three witnesses.

The first woman is described as being white, around 35-40 years old, with mousy brown hair. She was wearing a black jacket and dark trousers.

The second female is described as white, between 35 and 40 years old, with shoulder length blond hair. She was wearing a blue cardigan and black trousers.

The man was described as being white, between 35 and 40 years old, over 6ft tall. He has a bald head, and was wearing a brown jacket and dark trousers.
