Police release image of '˜dangerous' man sought over Paisley murder

POLICE Scotland detectives have issued an image of a man they wish to trace urgently following a murder and attempted murder which occurred in Paisley.

The appeal for information came after the attack in Penilee Road on the evening of Friday 2 June left one woman dead and a young boy critically injured.

Gary Brown, 54, is described as being around 5’11” tall and has brown/grey hair and is believed to have access to a motor vehicle, a blue Toyota Auris, with registration number FE15 WNO.

Police have warned that he may be dangerous and possibly armed, adding that “the public are advised not to approach him” and instead dial 999 immediately if he or his vehicle are sighted.
