Police refuse to let sleeping lions lie

POLICE in Kazakhstan confiscated a lion after it was spotted asleep in a van in a public car park.

A circus owner went for a sleep after buying the beast - leaving it in his vehicle.

The man is expanding his animal collection, police said.
