Police recruit advisers

FOUR new advisers to report on diversity issues to Lothian and Borders Police are set to be recruited.

The Lay Diversity Advisers Scheme was established to boost "trust and confidence in policing within all communities", with advisers meeting with police chiefs to review all recorded hate crimes.
