Police raid youth's home after chat room threat to shoot pupils

A teenager's home in Edinburgh was searched by police after he was reported to have posted gun threats in an internet chatroom, police said today.

Worried members of the forum told officers the 14-year-old had said he planned to take bullets to school the next day and shoot class bullies and himself.

He is reported to have written: "Thanks for all your advice. I'm gonna bring four bullets to school tomorrow. Three for the meanest of the bullies and one for me."
