Police raid drug house

MORE than £100,000 worth of cannabis has been seized from a house following a raid.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged after police discovered 450 plants and equipment used to make cannabis from a property in Ferry Road.

It was targeted as part of Operation Adrenalin, Lothian and Borders Police's ongoing initiative against the drug trade.

A police spokesman said: "The intelligence we receive from the public has proven invaluable. This is a sizeable recovery and we are delighted to have seized these plants."
