Police probe pool incident

A MAN suspected of trying to take photographs of two young girls in a swimming pool changing cubicle is being sought by police.

The children claimed that a man placed a mobile phone camera under the cubicle while they were in swim wear at Dunbar Leisure Pool last month. Pool staff were notified but a search for the culprit proved fruitless. A description of the man was unavailable as the children could only see the lower half of the man's legs beneath the cubicle partition.

A police spokesman said: "Lothian and Borders Police are investigating following a suspicious incident at a swimming pool in Dunbar on Tuesday, August 3 at about 1:30pm.

"Anyone with information that can assist with our enquiries is asked to contact police immediately."
