Police plea to trace missing 20-year-old

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a young man who went missing from his home nine days ago.

Donald Ross, 20, was last seen at his home in Longniddry, East Lothian on the morning of Monday, January 24, and he has not been in touch with his family since.

His silver Nissan Micra was found in the Tesco car park in Ferrymuir, South Queensferry at 2.50pm a week later.

Mr Ross is described as being white, 5ft 9in tall, with long light brown hair which is past his ears.

He is believed to be wearing a light blue/grey hooded top, blue jeans, and white trainers.

Appealing for help, a police spokeswoman said: "We are asking anyone who may have been in the Ferrymuir area and who may recognise Donald's description, to come forward."
