Police name victim of motorbike crash

Police have named a man who died in a crash on his motorbike.

David Steadwood, 35, from Loanhead, Midlothian came off his Suzuki on Saturday afternoon. Police said Mr Steadwood collided with the kerb, sustaining neck injuries.

He died at the scene, on the B704 road near the Cockpen roundabout, despite attempts to resuscitate him.
