Police name victim of Barra house fire
A man who died in a serious house fire on Barra has been named by police.
Joseph MacNeil, 51, died following the blaze at St Barr’s Crescent in Northbay on Friday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 6.30am
Police said no-one else was injured in the incident.
A joint investigation between Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is continuing.
