Police name man shot and killed in Glenrothes

POLICE have confirmed the name of the man shot dead in Glenrothes as Mohammed Nadeem Siddique.

Mr Siddique was killed in a house in the Forres Drive area of Glenrothes between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday.

Officers investigting the case have confirmed that one other man is being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds.

Fife Constabulary said there had been no arrests made yet.

A police spokesperson said: "No further information can be released at this time given the infancy of the investigation, however, I would take this opportunity to appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard anything untoward in this area during these times to contact the police."
