Police name man killed in Dundee flat fire

Police have named a man who died after an incident at a flat on Friday.

Tayside Police were called to the flat in Dundee's Elders Court at 7.19pm.

They found Ronald Fraser, 44, with serious injuries and he died at the scene.

A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Det Ch Insp Shaun Mckillop, the senior investigating officer, said: "This has been an isolated incident in a block of flats.

"A high profile police presence will remain in the area providing public reassurance whilst inquiries are carried out."
