Police name body found in forest

POLICE have named a man found dead in a Galloway forest at the weekend as John Lochrie.

Mr Lochrie, 54, of High Street, Dalbeattie, failed to return home from work in the woods on Friday and he was found the next morning after a search.

A police spokesman said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
