Police name Aberdeenshire car crash victim

A MAN who died following a two car crash has been named by police.

Malcolm Stephen, 52, died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident, which happened on the B9033 at the junction with the B9107 at Inverallochy, Aberdeenshire, on Sunday evening.

The collision, at around 7.10pm, involved a green Vauxhall Astra and a gold Renault Scenic.

Three other people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police would like to trace a vehicle that turned out of the Inverallochy junction just before the collision as they said the person or people in it may be a key witness or witnesses to the incident.

Mr Stephen was from the Inverallochy area.
