Police make arrest after Peterhead body find

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man following the discovery of a body in the north east town of Peterhead.

The body of a 31-year-old man was found at around 2.30am on Monday at an address in the Longate area.

Grampian Police have not released the identity of the dead man but said a man had been arrested in connection with the death.

More than 30 officers were working on the investigation.

The man will appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.
