Police launch appeal after thieves target Jedburgh farm

An investigation has been launched after thieves made off with a trailer from a farm south of Jedburgh last week.

Police are appealing for information following the incident which happened at Willowford Farm, near Camptown between 3pm on Sunday, December 22, and 2.30am the following day.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A silver Ifor William’s triple-axle cattle trailer was stolen overnight. We would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious.

The six-wheeled metal trailer was clearly marked with the word Willowford in black writing across its front.

In August police were called to the same farm after two people took off from the farm during an alleged late-night attempted theft.
