Police investigating 'unexplained' death

Police are investigating the "unexplained" death of a man days after he was attacked by a gang. Officers said the 47-year-old man was found dead on Tuesday morning, after being treated at Glasgow's Western Infirmary following an attack on Larchfield Avenue last Friday.

It is understood further tests are needed to discover whether the injuries from the assault contributed to the man's death.
