Police investigate unexplained death of man, 62, in Perth

POLICE are investigating the unexplained death of a man found injured in the close of a tenement building in Perth.

Edward Tulloch, 62, was found with head injuries in Newhouse Road on Tuesday night, police said.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he later died.

Tayside Police said Mr Tulloch's death was not suspicious.

A spokesman said: "While there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, at this time his death is being treated as unexplained.

"Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen Mr Tulloch, or been in the area of Newhouse Road on Tuesday night, particularly between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.

"In particular, officers want to trace a man and woman who were seen being dropped off in Newhouse Road by a white taxi, as it is possible they may have seen something that could assist enquiries."
