Police investigate unexplained death
Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a home in the Capital.
Officers were called out to the property at Royston Mains Gardens earlier this morning, where the body was found.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh responded to an address in Royston Mains Gardens at around 9.45am on Wednesday, November 26, where the body of a woman was found dead within.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding her death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, are ongoing.”
