Police in plea over £100,000 drink raid

POLICE have issued descriptions of the tractor units used to tow away two trailers loaded with £100,000 worth of whisky.

The trailers were taken from a transport yard in Dumfries.

Two units, a white Scania and a blue Daf, were seen towing the Currie trailers north on the A701, but police need more information.
