Police hunting shop robbers

Detectives are continuing inquiries following a shop robbery in Glasgow at the weekend.

Two men forced their way into the premises of Farmfoods at 722 Anniesland Road one armed with a knife and the other armed with what would appear to have been a blunt instrument.

They threatened the shop workers and demanded money then ran out of the shop and made off with a four-figure sum of cash.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, although the male shop worker and a female co-worker were left extremely distressed as a result.
