Police hunt to trace car

DETECTIVES investigating the shooting of a man outside a city gym have appealed for help in tracing a car spotted in the area at the time of the incident.

Robert Kelbie, 27, was shot after parking his car outside Bannatyne's Health Club in Newcraighall on Wednesday.

Police are now keen to trace the driver and occupants of a silver Vauxhall Vectra, which was in the car park between 6pm and 7pm.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Thomas said: "CCTV footage shows a grey or silver Vauxhall Vectra driving around the car park shortly after 6pm, again around 7pm and then leaving at speed shortly after.

"It may be the same vehicle or it may be different ones."
