Police hunt metal thieves

TWO men and a woman are being hunted by police following the attempted theft of scrap metal.

The trio were spotted trying to steal the metal from the Mayfield industrial estate in Midlothian at around 3pm on Friday.

The first suspect is a man in his mid-40s, around 6ft 1in tall, with a heavy build, and decayed teeth.

The second man was in his mid-50s, around 5ft 7in tall, slim build, with collar-length dark hair, and a weathered, unshaven face.

The woman was in her mid-40s, with long fair hair.
