Police hunt for teen thugs

GRAMPIAN Police were yesterday hunting four teenage thugs who stoned a man's house, minutes after they had attacked him.

The 58-year-old was assaulted in a lane near Orkney Avenue in the Sheddocksley area of Aberdeen on Saturday night. He was kicked and punched on the head and body by four youths, who then targeted the man's home, throwing large boulders at his windows.

Police spokesman Constable Bryan Bruce said: "This was a despicable attack on an elderly gentleman outside his home, and I would urge anyone with information which can identify the perpetrators to contact me. I am particularly keen to hear from a young male on a moped who may have witnessed the incident."
