Police hunt flasher after OAP's ordeal

A TEENAGE flasher who called at the home of an elderly woman before exposing himself to her is being sought by police.

The 75-year-old victim, from Harkness Crescent in Tranent, East Lothian, was wakened by her doorbell and went to answer it at about 12:45am on Sunday.

The youth, believed to be aged 15-16, flashed her, leaving the victim "extremely upset", according to police.

The suspect is described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, well-built, with short blond hair and a round face.

A police spokeswoman said, "Police are appealing for any information which can speed the detention and arrest of the suspect. Whilst the woman was uninjured, she has been left extremely shaken by the ordeal."
