Police hunt after syringe stabbing

POLICE are hunting a man who stabbed a woman in the chest and arm with a syringe and snatched her purse in broad daylight.

The robbery happened at 2:25pm yesterday in the east end of Glasgow. The 37-year-old woman was approached in Loretto Street by a man who attacked her. He took her purse and ran off along Ruchazie Road.
