Police enforce alcohol rules

POLICE community beat officers visited licensed premises in Haddington, East Lothian, over the weekend to ensure alcohol laws were being obeyed.

During the checks, a fixed penalty ticket was issued to an 18-year-old Haddington man for urinating in the street.

Meanwhile, following a disturbance in Craig Avenue, Haddington, on Tuesday, a 37- year-old woman was arrested for an alleged assault, vandalism and breach of the peace.
