Police bid to track down cash conman

A CONMAN who has fleeced at least four victims by offering to sell them tobacco, laptops or televisions before running off with their cash is being hunted by police.

The con artist has been approaching people outside shops in Livingston and offering the goods for sale.

If anyone is interested, the man then asks them to drive him to a nearby house where the goods are supposedly kept, hand over the money, and wait in the car while he goes to pick up their purchase.
