Police begin mugger hunt

A MAN was robbed by a mugger wearing a Trainspotting T-shirt who demanded his money after the victim refused to hand over a cigarette.

The 25-year-old victim was walking along Brougham Place at around 2.50am on Saturday when the suspect approached after crossing Tarvit Street.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his 20s, of average build and with short thick light brown curly hair. He was clean-shaven and wearing the distinctive orange T-shirt.
