Police arrest elderly man over murder

A 69-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday by detectives investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a flat.

The dead man, in his sixties, was found after officers were called to the property in New Road, Chatham, Kent, at about 10:45pm on Saturday.
