Police Scotland have described Coutts, from Kingussie, as a “high risk missing person”.

They believe she may have been travelling to Dundee after boarding a southbound train at Kingussie Railway Station on Thursday at about 6.30pm.

A possible sighting was made in Arbroath on Saturday.

But a police spokesman said: “Police Scotland are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Catherine Coutts.

“Catherine is described as about 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with wavy auburn coloured hair.

“It is possible that Catherine’s intended destination was Dundee and police enquiries are continuing in this regard.

“Meantime, police would like to speak with anyone who has had contact with Catherine or has information regarding her whereabouts.”
