Police appeal for witnesses after man found dead in alley

POLICE in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses following the death on a man who was found lying in a footpath.

Alexander Duffin, who was found in Prospecthill Circus in the Toryglen area of the city at around 4.30pm on Sunday, was taken to hospital but died later.

Strathclyde Police say they are keen to trace a man seen in the area who was described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s and between 5ft 11in and 6ft tall.

Officers believe Mr Duffin, who is 41-years-old and from Toryglen, was involved in an incident on the pathway shortly before he was found.
