Poets book their spot at charity sale

SCOTLAND's national poet Liz Lochhead looks through the poetry books which will go on sale in this year's annual Christian Aid Booksale at St Andrew's and St George's West Church on George Street.

The poet is the patron of this year's event, and was joined by fellow poets Tessa Ramsford and Angela McSeveney to hunt out bargains before the doors open to the public.

The sale takes place on Saturday, and then for the rest of the week from Monday.
