Plenty of love and laughter on Girls' Night Out

WOMEN of all ages can enjoy a girls' night out filled with "love, laughter and men in thongs" at a city theatre.

The Festival Theatre is presenting Dave Simpson's successful play, Girls' Night Out, with a pop soundtrack to get audiences dancing in the aisles.

Rewritten to bring it up to date, the play explores bride-to-be Jane's plans for a big night out with her female friends.

Meanwhile, a group of men prepare for their "ladies only show" which they hope will turn them into overnight heroes.

The show runs from 25 to 29 May.
