Plea to put Scotland on Christmas menu

Scots should consider putting Stornoway Black Pudding and Isle of Arran cheese on their Christmas menus to cut down on food miles, according to the SNP.

The party says "eating local" would help firms reduce the distances food has to travel and cut carbon emissions.
