Plea to out Sir Fred's 'lover'

A HIGH Court judge was today expected to be asked to lift the privacy order protecting the identity of the woman who Sir Fred Goodwin allegedly had an affair with.

Lawyers were set to ask Mr Justice Tugendhat to allow the woman to be named, arguing that disclosure is in the public interest and is already in the public domain on Twitter.

It comes as the Financial Services Authority faced demands to release a suppressed report into the RBS bailout.
