Playboy model Kayla Collins to join I'm A Celebrity line-up

American model Kayla Collins - a virtual unknown in Britain - will provide glamour in the jungle camp, alongside Sheryl Gascoigne and actress Britt Ekland.

Former Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder - a reformed heroin addict whose presence on the new series had already been revealed - said yesterday he has had to cancel a spot on tour with Damon Albarn's Gorillaz to be on the show.

.Also on the new series - and set to face a range of grisly tasks - are diet show presenter Gillian McKeith, rapper Aggro Santos and X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon. The stars have been flying out to Australia to prepare for their entry into the I'm A Celebrity camp.

Model Ms Collins said she may be looking for love in the jungle but would struggle with tiny food portions.

"I know I am going to be starving," she said.

Retired sprinter Mr Christie is also concerned about the unsavoury items contestants may be forced to eat. "I am not sure about the testicle thing," he said.
