Pink-footed geese on dusk and dawn Duck’s menu

A FINE-dining restaurant is holding a special event combining food, art and the arrival of thousands of pink-footed geese flying into East Lothian.

Duck’s, in Aberlady, is hosting the two-day Duck’s Dusk Till Dawn Goose Watch on October 18 and 19.

Renowned painter and author Darren Woodhead, and David Lindo, bird expert on BBC1’s The One Show and nicknamed ‘The Urban Birder’, will take part.

Malcolm Duck, owner of Duck’s, said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first ever Duck’s Dusk Till Dawn Goosewatch.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about art with David, hear about birds from David Lindo and watch the spectacle of thousands of pink-footed geese flying into Aberlady Bay with informative bird experts at hand.

“And, of course, you can enjoy a fantastic meal at Duck’s fine dining restaurant.

“So why not join us at dusk and at dawn for this great event.”
