Sentencing Brown at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday, Lord Tyre told him: “There was an incident outside the pigeon club and you became involved by stabbing these two brothers.

Knife crime in Scotland has to be dealt with severely. I need to take measures for the public protection. I hope on your release you will take measures to remove yourself from the community where you have a reputation for violence.”
