Picnic won't be a waste

VISITORS will be shown how to make a "waste-free" picnic as part of a recycling event.

Parents are being encouraged to take youngsters to the city council's interactive Waste Education Cabin at the Seafield Community Recycling Centre today.

The newly-refurbished cabin will be open from 11am to 3pm.

Councillor Robert Aldridge said: "With loads of fun activities on offer, I'm sure kids of all ages will enjoy a great day out at the Waste Education Cabin today and explore how we can all Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to protect our planet's valuable resources."
