Picasso show at gallery

THE first exhibition to explore Pablo Picasso's lifelong connections with Britain is set to be shown at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art next summer.

Picasso and Britain will examine the artist's reputation in the UK and British artists' responses to his work.

The exhibition will comprise more than 150 works from collections around the world, including more than 60 paintings by Picasso himself.

Highlights include his 1925 painting, The Three Dancers.

Picasso and Britain will take place at the gallery from August 6 to November 4 next year.
