Physio takes a huge step

A PHYSIO in the Lothians who developed a groundbreaking walking project has been praised for her work.

Amanada Stears created the outdoor project for people with learning disabilities in Midlothian, and almost immediately after the initiative had begun, carers noted a notable improvement in mood and behaviour.

As a result, she was nominated for an NHS Health Scotland prize for her work.
