Perth woman sexually assaulted outside shop

A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted by a man outside a shop.

The incident happened outside the Poundstretcher store on Scott Street, Perth, around 00:40 on Sunday September 28.

It is understood the victim made her way to a taxi rank in Mill Street.

Police Scotland said she was visibly distressed and was offered assistance by several members of the public.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone with information which could help their inquiry.

The suspect is described as 6ft tall, in his 20s, with short black curly hair, a short full beard, of eastern Mediterranean appearance and wearing dark trousers, an open neck white shirt, and a dark blazer.
