People-watching Prince opens £11.5m library

PRINCE Edward yesterday officially open Stirling University's new £11.5 million library - and admitted he never got any work done in the library when he studied at university.

The Cambridge-educated Earl of Wessex told how, as a history student, he would visit the famous Seeley Historical Library.

But he rarely studied in the 204-year-old room as its open design allowed him to eyeball friends with ease, and they would go for coffee instead.
