Pentagon blocks Iraq transfer

IRAQ'S government will delay taking custody of a Hezbollah commander from the US military after American senators asked the Pentagon to block the transfer for fear he would escape or be released.

Ali Mussa Daqduq, a Lebanese captured in 2007, is accused of working with Iranians to train Shi'ite militias which targeted Americans in Iraq.
