Pensioner in centre threats

POLICE were called to a community centre after a pensioner started uttering threats in the building.

Officers were called to the Muirhouse Millennium Centre on Muirhouse Medway at around 10am yesterday after being alerted to the incident. A 66-year-old man, who is understood to suffer from mental health issues, was detained.
