Pensioner hit by bus dies in hospital

A PENSIONER has died in hospital after being knocked down by a bus near a busy shopping centre.

The 81-year-old woman, who was from the Arbroath area, was crossing the Seagate in Dundee on Thursday afternoon when the accident happened.

She was rushed to Ninewells Hospital with serious head injuries where she later died of her injuries.
