Pensioner accused of killing his wife

PENSIONER Geoffrey Norton will appear in court today charged with the murder of his wife.

The 66-year-old is accused of killing Janet Norton, 64, who was found with head injuries at her home in Preesall, Lancashire, on Friday.

She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, where she died.
