Pathways students point the way to a new garden
The concept for the Courtyard Garden came from Pathways floristry students who also wanted to learn more about plants and how they grow.
Pathways classes are for people with additional support and learning needs, and the students teamed up with students from construction and engineering courses to build paths and flower beds for the garden.

Pathways development co-ordinator, Rona Perkins said: "We were delighted to get them involved in an outdoor project and really experience learning in action.
"Not only will this garden be used to grow flowers to teach these floristry students, but it will also be used to plant herbs and vegetables which can then be used by the college's food and hospitality students in the college's popular learning restaurants."
The garden will be officially opened at 9:30am tomorrow.
